Happy new year!
This morning I am thankful to wake up in my own bed and sober. When I drank and celebrating. the new year was just another excuse to get drunk, regret and do it all over again the next day.
Today is full of possibilities and new adventures awaiting me.
I am looking forward to the next day and enjoying this new year with God’s grace.
Sometimes I my service work with my daily check-ins can get overwhelming, but I have to remember it is my service work and not a job. My God sees to it that I remember where I came from and how badly I felt.
This morning I am thankful for this new day and new year. I am thankful that I can share with you my thoughts and my feelings. I am grateful that I have choices and this morning I am choosing to go for a walk with my husband to start off the new year right with a positive action right out of the gate.
