Good morning,
This morning, I am feeling grateful for the little part-time job I found. It’s just a couple days a week, and it’s right up my alley. I’m only working Thursdays and Saturdays. I am thankful for the people that recommended me and for the new friendships I have made and yet to make.
They tell us that “we will be amazed” at the happiness and joy we will find if we can only stay sober one day at a time.
The trick is to stick around long enough for the miracle to happen. The longer I stay sober the more I learn as well as the more I don’t understand the whys of life.
It is one day at a time with faith and moving forward one step at a time. I am thankful for this beautiful day and the ability to help friends out when they ask. Helping people is always a good thing in this crazy world we live in.
