Good morning,
Yesterday at our meeting we discussed guilt and humility. People spoke about how you can be humble and admit your faults, but you don’t have to stay guilty after you make your amends. My God wants be to be accountable for my actions, but not carry the shame and guilt that is associated with not being open to see how unimportant we are in the grand scheme of things.
“Let go and let God’ was the general consensus even though I tend hold on to my feelings as a way to make myself feel lower than you.
Today is a new day and I plan to stay right sized in any given situation I might run into and make my amends and move forward. I do like the slogan ‘keep it simple’ even though I like to complicate the hell out of things. Today I strive to do better and stay in the day, not yesterday or tomorrow.
