Good morning,
Freedom from bondage of self and making room for new practices, focus and experiences.
Everyday I aspire to be of service, to be open to new people and things in my life. Thus, having this daily routine is a reminder to ask for guidance from my HP on how I can be of service each day. Often times I have no follow through to make the connections needed to help another.
When I was drinking, I found pleasure and fulfillment when I helped someone and that is still true today. Today I am in a rut and I am aspire to do better; after I am a work in progress. Thank you God I don’t have to be perfect anymore and have somewhat let my perfection go. I definitely need more practice in that part of my life as well. That is why everyday I pray for willingness to do better and take action to help others.
This morning my prayer is how, what and willing am I to be open service. This morning I am willing to do the next right thing to stay sober.
My gratitude this morning is for Insight Timer, my creature comforts I take for granted everyday and for my support system; I wouldn’t be here where I am without you.
