trudging my road of happy destiny

February 8

This morning I am reflecting how I help others in the program and outside of the rooms. Sponsorship of others is one way and the other is working with another woman, creating space and trust for things I need help with that interfere with my peace and serenity. Trusting other women has always been difficult especially when I went out on my own into the vast world. I found out quickly that if you don’t have the right tools for dealing with the tribulations of life’s ups and downs situations can be very difficult to understand and withstand with some faith and grace.
I have discovered through the program of AA trust is very important for developing acceptance of life on life’s terms.
For me using a sponsor that I am comfortable with and trust can still waver today. However, I have had outside help most of my adult life and that has made a big difference, trusting another person with my stuff.
Today trust, acceptance and faith are crucial to my sobriety and living happy, joyous and free. Today I want to be a beacon of light for another who is struggling with life’s challenges when not using or drinking or just in need of help.
This morning I am thankful and happy with how my day went yesterday and for having plans to get out today.
Have a wonderful hump day and let your light shine so another can find you.
